Welcome to the Celestial-Eater Grand Prix. Every year, the UAAP (University Adventuring Association of the Philippines) holds a cross-university contest. Seven teams comprised of students from each of the nine member schools, each named for one of the mythical Celestial-Eaters. Seven stages testing might and magick, racing to the moon and to glory.
You - however - are not supposed to be here. You, your teammates, and your coach were only ever meant to be the second-stringers for Team Bakunawa. Replacements in case other members were too hurt to carry on. Unfortunately, the entire team vanished during the ascent. It is unknown where they vanished to, but now Team Bakunawa’s B-Squad has been called to complete the Grand Prix.
