About Us
Juan-Shot is an event created to bring tabletop role-playing games (TTRPGs), like Dungeons & Dragons (D&D), into the mainstream and make them more accessible and inclusive.
The initiative was started by a group of seven friends from the server Circular Ruins (James, Viel, Laine, Josiah, Rein, NF, and Vicci) who attended an event together. Eventually onboarding more members from the same community to support the event, Juan-Shot is project dedicated to the community by the community.
Apart from these collective, this event is driven by a dedicated and supportive community who embraced the challenge of designing an event that ensures fairness and accessibility for all participants-- organizers, volunteers, and attendees alike. These organizers aim to showcase the fun and creativity in playing TTRPGs, fostering a mini-convention where attendees can fully appreciate and enjoy this hobby.
By prioritizing inclusivity and accessibility, Juan-Shot seeks to break down barriers that may prevent people from engaging with TTRPGs. The event is structured to cater to both newcomers and seasoned players, offering a diverse range of activities and experiences that highlight the imaginative and collaborative nature of these games. Through their efforts, every single person behind the team of Juan-Shot aspires to create a vibrant and supportive community-driven event, demonstrating that TTRPGs are not only a form of entertainment but also a means to connect, learn, and grow together.
